Hello families!

My name is Jessica Tornai, and I am so delighted to be your child’s 2nd grade teacher this year! I graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Mathematics, Spanish, and Education in 2021 and from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education in 2022. I tutored math and Spanish and taught Elementary Spanish I as a teacher’s assistant for 3 years while in college. 2019 was my first year working in elementary classrooms where I observed and assisted 1st and 3rd graders. This past year, I student taught 3rd grade at Forest View Elementary. This is my 1st year teaching, but my 2nd year at Forest View! I am so excited to teach, and I love teaching and learning from second graders!
